These are exciting times for Fairfax County. 

With a newly elected Democratic Governor and a newly Democratic legislature, along with new members of our congressional delegation and local board, there is a tremendous opportunity to lay out our vision for the future of the county. 

As your Chairman, I remain committed to leading our outstanding community through pragmatic, common-sense solutions, providing excellent constituent services being accountable to you, our residents and taxpayers. Fairfax County, along with our larger region, is experiencing a period of economic transition. COVID and reckless federal cuts have shown that we cannot take for granted the economic bubble that federal dollars and a strong commercial real estate market provide. With economic projects across the county, we continue to thrive despite so many headwinds. We remain fiscally smart and embrace our county’s diversity.
