As we look ahead, I think it is important to take a few minutes to think and reflect on where we have been these last few years. 

When we set out on this journey four years ago, we were determined to make the best county in America even better, and make great strides on important issues like strengthening our economy, housing, the environment, education, transportation, public safety, economic development, mental health, aid to small businesses and equity and inclusion, and I’m proud to say that we’ve made great progress on these goals, and many others, while maintaining our fiscal responsibility.  

I am extremely humbled to be your Chairman, and I look forward to seeing you out on the campaign trail.
